I understand that information provided to RMA is confidential and may not be used at court, and I agree that no person involved with RMA shall be a compellable witness in current or future legal proceedings regarding this file. I understand that mediation is a voluntary process and that the mediator is neutral and helps the parties try to reach an agreement acceptable to all participants. I understand that the mediator/RMA does not represent either spouse and does not provide legal advice. I understand that there is a fee for mediation, that payments are due before each mediation conference unless otherwise agreed in writing, and that additional amounts may be due at the conclusion of a session. I authorize RMA to use the information submitted in this intake to create a Divorce by Mediation case file, select likely Florida Supreme Court / local forms for mediator review, and prepare draft form packets for review. I consent to receive RMA administrative notices and portal communications electronically and understand that official court filing requirements remain separate from RMA portal use.
